New SAIFAM: Technoboy – Put Some Grrrace

Yes, reader. You have noticed correctly, our ‘New Tracks’ section has been disturbingly empty and broken so far. However, that is about to change with TBY’s new song, Put Some Grrrace, alternatively known as Put Sum Grrrace.

The first thing that comes to mind when listening to it is its resemblance to Next Dimensional World, Giusberti’s previous release under the Technoboy alias. A friendly, mid-heavy intro flowing into an extremely good mid-intro that WILL make you dance. Do not, however, expect a long break. TBY shows he still has it by immediately letting a simple, but decent melody come in and pounding on.

Effective as that build-up may be, I’m not too excited about this release. Especially the (mid-)intro sounds good but it doesn’t beat recent SAIFAM masterpieces like Trapped and People Won’t Like This.

For reference, here is a Youtube video of the track. I didn’t use the Q-Dance Radio rip that every clown can find, but some actual footage of Qountdown. Filmed with a simple camera, it does not contain a lot of bass, but it shows off these delicious mids in the intro so much better than the rip everyone already knows. Note the song actually starts at about 1:10.

Only one thing left to wonder… Will they make the B-side mix different this time?
