Q-BASE line-up & website; Thrillogy trailer & hosts
With the announcement of the Q-BASE line-up, hosts of the Thrillogy areas, and Scantraxx’ latest addition to the family, it seems hardstyle’s silly season, and thus our own little period of inactivity, have ended. For now, here are line-ups, trailers and sites for Q’s and b2s’ big events; more news about Gostosa is to follow shortly.
First up, Thrillogy. Celebrating its third birthday, b2s have this time opted to have D-Block & S-Te-Fan, Dana and Evil Activities host an area. With Evil Activities having gone from superb producer to wildly uninteresting in only a few years, hardcore mainstream fans will certainly be happy. Although, who knows, EA might opt to invite some pleasantly surprising guests.
Of all the styles she plays, it is most likely that Dana will host an oldschool area. Hopefully, and even probably, she will compile a varied line-up, different from the early hardcore hitparade most oldschool/early parties are these days. Highly enjoyable, even for those who do not normally listen to early hardcore, like myself.
Of course most of you will be most interested in D-Block & S-Te-Fan’s area. Still relative newcomers to the scene, b2s’ choice for them comes as somewhat of a surprise. On the other hand, DBSTF are about to release an album, and since Thrillogy has already seen Zany and The Prophet, they’re fresh out of big names – Technoboy just had his own X-Qlusive, after all. As for the line-up, the only prediction I dare to make is that Josh & Wesz will be present. Though DBSTF are technically part of Scantraxx, they always have seemed to follow their own plans and as such might opt not to invite the entire label… again.
In anticipation of what may come, here is the trailer.

Stay tuned for the Gostosa update!
