Hardstyle Silly Season: Showtek featured in Bruno!

Alright, some of you may have noticed a shameful lack of updates on this very blog. Numerous things are to blame.

Thing One! I am currently very busy working, earning money so I can buy important music-related items such as beer. This site would not function without those items.

Thing Two: Carl, although he does show up on msn when I tell him to do so, is very busy doing nothing at all during his 3-months Swedish holiday. Surely, you understand how difficult it is for him to maintain the blog at this time.

Thing Three! Communications with new reviewer SipSap have somehow ground to a halt. Which reminds me, I should mail him again right now. Sippy, where art thou?

Thing Four (warning: actual thing). It seems the hardstyle scene has entered the silly season: apart from some new NC tracks, pretty much everything has stopped since Defqon, all the Youtube uploaders are either on holiday or under a rock, basically all our news sources have run dry.

As you can see, none of all this is my fault and I am not at all to blame. Fortunately, like any proper journalist, I have picked up rumours (certainly not from the Partyflock news section) about an exclusive piece of important Hardstyle News. So, here’s my compensation for 2 weeks of no updates: (see article title).

So far, I have not watched the movie myself, but I have heard that Showtek’s Raver plays for about 10 seconds during a Meatspin-like scene. (Note for the faint of heart: don’t click that link.) Whatever be the case, the DMW promo guys are very happy about it and have written a PRESS RELEASE to celebrate.

Seriously speaking, I am extremely curious to see how this will affect Showtek and hardstyle’s popularity and genuine interest.

FINAL THING THAT I FORGOT BEFORE!: Since the edition of Core Magazine in which they will be released is not yet out, the Activator and Pitcher interviews will not be posted here yet. Also, I am too lazy to translate the full text of Pollen’s interview so bugger off.
