CD1 is the usual mix of hands-up, commercial/popular hardstyle and Rocco & Bass-T’s personal favourites. Some depressing tracks like Just Say My Name, some highlights like People Won’t Like This and Tuned In.

CD2 deserves a closer look. Actually, it deserves to be scrutinized track by track. If we do so, what do we find? Our Core, Relax and Guardian Angel already make this cd the most exciting once since the invention of CDs. They’re followed by a new, so far unplayed Williams Syndrome track. Another load of Superplastik stuff at which we have already taken a look passes by, accompanied by an as of yet unreleased Noisecontrollers track. Finally, we get to hear the very best of new hardstyle in HQ. The CD is now at the point where its value beats that of all the gold in Fort Knox. One of Wildstylez new masterpieces joins Killer Clown’s unique Silentium in an effort to make the disc even more outstanding… when something extremely unsettling happens.

A New Day. That shameless ripoff of Shreek? On a CD mixed by the Noisecontrollers themselves? This means a lot of things. It means NC have given Headhunterz permission to steal the intro of Shreek, mess it up badly, and use it in his ‘own’ release. Why? It also means the CD, which has an otherwise flawless, 100/100 tracklist, gets cut in half by a track that just does not live up to the high standard.

You do not really require my quidance through the rest of the tracklist to tell you how great it is. Razr, Animated Audio, and if we’re lucky the NC remix of Thugs – it never stops. Even though I have some strong doubts about A New Day, let’s just call it a little mistake and move on. Still, I am extremely curious as to why it was included – Bas, Arjan, Luc, do you happen to be reading along?

Whatever the reason is, this CD is something to long for. 9 more days…

Release date: 13.02.2009

(And yes, I did change the bit about A New Day. After listening to it on a good stereo too I don’t think it’s that horrible anymore. Besides, I guess the people saying I was being biased did have a point. So there ya go, I toned it down. GOOD RIDDANCE)
