Defqon.1 2009 Australia trailer + anthem?
Since analytics show we have more Australian readers than we have Dutch ones, here is a little treat for you. Click ‘more…’ to see the official Defqon.1 trailer for the Sydney edition, unveiling the location as being the International Regatta Center. Being Dutch myself, I have no idea what the fuck that is, but it sounds cool and looks like the perfect party spot to boot.
Here’s the official trailer for you. Be sure to go to Youtube itself and watch the HD version, though, as that does it way more justice, even though it is not particularly thrilling.
As for the background music – one would expect it to be the anthem, Maximum Force, done by Zany. He ‘announced’ it on Twitter, but so far no samples have been out there. However, if this is indeed it, it is in (notice the impressive amounts of ‘i’ in that phrase, done by me to illustrate how much cheese the song contains. I’m not entirely sure how the letter ‘i’ relates to cheesy music, but this sure was an effective way of catching your attention so I can make the following point-) serious need of a Donkey Rollers remix.
Now all this festival needs is a proper line-up. One thing is for certain, at least Zany will be on it.
[MONSTROUSLY QUICK UPDATE] Australian-based reporter Moe tell us the International Regatta Center is ‘in the middle of fucking nowhere’. He seems unimpressed, but little does he know the middle of fucking nowhere generally means: no sound limits. Huzzah!

ECHIIIIIAAALLLLDD
It is far awar from the center or Sydney, however, it is where they held the Sydney Olympics so they have built this amazing rowing course with a massive island in the middle were spectators could watch from, So Defqon will be on an island by the water and they can have the music as loud as they want cuase no one lives there. Where else in Sydney could you find a more perfect place thats only an hour from the city. Suck it up guys, Defqon will be EPIC
